Nursing is a high-paced, rewarding career that offers employment in many different health care areas including physician offices, hospitals, schools, travel nursing, and many more.
Successful completion of the Associate Degree Nursing program at Gulf Coast State College permits you to take the national exam to obtain a Registered Nurse (RN) license. The Associate of Science degree in Nursing prepares you to work in a variety of positions in nursing and may be the first step toward preparing the Registered Nurse (RN) for further studies (through university programs) to progress in the profession to receive a Bachelor of Science in nursing degree, then a Masters of Science in nursing degree, and then a doctoral degree.
